How does a parent explain to a child about the death of a pet? Or a friend? Or a relative? How do we explain the prospect of our own mortality... to ourselves?

In this sometimes lighthearted yet melancholy tale, I use typographic design to tell the story of my adolescent daughter and her new "found" kitten from the kitten's perspective, through it's very brief life and the prospect of an eventual reunion. It is my own interpretation of the concept of reincarnation in hopes that every being has a purpose, if only to teach us how to live our lives well while we have the opportunity.
